Supplementary Education Service
General Overview
- Students seeking to improve fundamental understanding of core academic subjects is encouraged to try our supplementary classes
- Saturday only or Summer Break program is available
- Private tutoring or mini-classroom setting is available on request with flexible hours
- Available subjects includes, and is not limited to,
6th-7th grade Writing
6th-7th grade Math
6th-7th grade Science
8th-9th grade Literature
8th-9th grade Writing

History
Reading Class
- Students will learn to read and understand various forms of writings under guidance of instructors
- Reading fundamentals will be taught
- Critical Thinking will be encouraged
- Vocabulary of the students will be expanded
Writing Class
- Students will be trained to write in highly competent manner
- Instruction on grammar and good writing style will be given
- Students will be asked to write in various forms in various situations
- There will be exercises in expressing one’s view points
- Debate practices will be held and be used to broaden student’s approaches and usable writing formats
Math Class
- Each student will undergo personal math evaluation before starting this class
- Emphasis will be on fundamental concepts but various short cuts and problem solving tactics will also be explored in detail
- Student to student interaction will be used, when appropriate, to enhance student’s understanding of mathematical concepts and student’s comfort level in using various mathematical identities and formulas
- Students will be shown how something in math is connected to different concepts in different subjects
Science Class
- Students will first be taught the fundamental concepts that connects diverse subjects and scientific theories
- They will also be trained in scientific research process in order to better know how to question, explore, and record the situations that confronts them
- Scientific writing lessons will be given when opportunity presents
- Students will also practice reading scientific papers and how to criticize or make use of it
Literature Class
- Students will be exposed to important works of literatures
- They will be shown how the works of literature influences our lives
- Historical backgrounds will be taught as well
- Critical analysis of literary works will be done
- Students may have opportunity to create a small piece of writing in form or style similar to famous literary works
